Client and his wife had adopted a couple of kids. One child who faced a number of mental health issues and struggled in adapting to her new environment fabricated allegations of molestation. We fought the allegations and worked alongside DHS and the investigating agency. Ultimately no charges were filed, the DHS case was closed and the parents were able to get their other children back and the unstable child went back to DHS custody.

Client is a minor accused of threatening acts of violence at school. Full spread panic as the school responds with post-Columbine force. We used social media posts, texts, and other electronic data to show our client was being harassed and this false claim was just her bullies utilizing school’s fear to punish her more. No charges were filed. Today the client is at a new school and thriving as she prepares for her first year of college.

Child was hospitalized for mental health and behavioral issues. She was out of control at home and school and needed medical intervention. While inpatient she observed children disclosing stories of abuse and being met with positive reinforcements. She created this story in a therapy session and had no idea the long-lasting life changing consequences it would have. She later recanted, but not until after her father was forced from his home against his wives will to avoid DHS taking their other children. No charges were filed and the family was reunited after she aged out of the system.
